Convection and Radiation Performance of a Ship Deck Light Shroud, Supported by Bath Iron Works, December 1999, $20,000.

Superheated Steam Drying, Supported by Merrill Air Technology, 1995-1996, $13,000.

A Study of the Interactions between Fiber Types and Dryer Design Parameters on the Quality of Molded Products Which are Dried in Superheated Steam, Supported by Tenneco Packaging, 1995-1996, $17,000.

Performance Prediction For a Hydro-Pneumatic Power Plant, Supported by Central Maine Power, 1994-1995, $13,000.

Establishment of a Research Focus in Wood Based Composites Utilizing Northern Species, with Bob Rice and Steve Shaler, Supported by USDA – CSRS, Awarded Spring 1995, $227,961.

Consulting - Some recent consulting contracts include those with Valmet/Honeycomb Corporation, Kady International, Merrill Air Engineers, Tenneco Packaging, Central Maine Power and Columbia Forest Products.  Recent training courses have been offered at Georgia Pacific Corporation, Bath Iron Works and at a National Electronics Cooling Conference.
