How has the supercomputer affected the middle schools involved in the state's laptop initiative?

What we're working toward is tying in the scientific computation, the scientific visualization and the education aspect, so that what we have is every middle school student in the state of Maine with a display that is part of their laptop. Certainly, what we ought to be able to do with that is to be able to use those displays in parallel--much like these displays in parallel--to allow high resolution visualization of scientific outcomes, among other things. In the same ways that parallel processing helps solve problems faster, parallel visualization helps see the information better.
